Just got back from a few days on the pond.Headed up on Friday to do some fishing and some scouting for a place to deer hunt on the east side.Fishing was good as long as the wind didnt blow and the fog didnt roll in.Friday night was a great night to be out on the lake and being one of the few boats on the east side made it even better.Fireball Rick joined me Friday night(thanks for posting the picks)and I think he had a good time.I know I did.Even brought his own net Saturday the fish were biting but it was short lived as things died when the fog rolled in and I didnt stick around to see if they would wake up.Sunday was a blow out on the east side so I broke out the Windsor instead Monday I went out solo and started on the NE and worked my way to the SE.My plan was to hit a bunch of spots just to see where the fish were.It was a pretty good night with 15 fish boated and a few mishaps.A 27 was the biggest boated but I had two on that were bigger that didnt quite make the net. What kindof surprised me last night is that the places I think of as great spots wernt that great and the other spots were.Just goes to show ya it pays to keep on the move. You probably guessed it was Firetiger and Clown with Clown way out front.Hunting was more of a road trip than anything just looking for a good place to hunt. Now that I have narrowed things down and the weather looking better for hunting than fishing I will be headed back up to chase some whitetails.Good luck and Ill keep the light on for ya
Im back but not for long
