Headed up to the lake last night with Turk 802 and hit the west side about an hour after dark.It started out a typical night with a bite or 2 and a fish on and then went south from there. We worked my same area that had produced lots of fish(ching ching) but it didnt take long to tell the bite was not what it had been.A while later the north wind started to blow so we headed back towards Eddys where we landed the boat and tried a couple of spots near there. The fish werent biting there and the lake was rolling so we loaded up the boat and headed north. We put the boat back in the water by Garrison and headed for a new spot. The fish were there but the cold front had definitly slowed them down.We picked up 2 fish there a 26 and a 20 but it was slow going and getting cold so we decided to call it a night. It ended up being a slow night with only 8-10 fish but I met a new friend that should have gone the other night but a guy has to get a taste of reality once in a while. And it has been a while.Dont put the boat away yet because as soon as the weather straightens up these fish will be tearing it up.Headed back up this weekend to do some hunting and fishing looking for that 30 pointer and that 30 incher Well good luck hunting and fishing and Ill keep the light on for ya

Thanks again for the good company – I will definately keep you in mind for pool 2 and Red Wing stuff .
    Take care,
Still a little groggy – got home at 4:30 and the wife heard me come in and said she couldn’t get back to sleep – good thing I am getting away this weekend so I don’t have to hear about it any more.
