Noticed that Smithwick makes a few glow in the dark rogues. Any one ever give these a try? Always looking for something new to catch walleyes on.

I’ve tried them… they didn’t work at all for me on the pond after dark. I was intrigued by them as well but threw them on the pile of interesting stuff that didn’t pan out.

I thought the same thing…My friend tired a glow in the dark walleye diver on Leech this spring.
He caught a eel pout trolling… …first one I ever heard anybody catch trolling… …needless to say the glow lure went in the same pile James uses…

How about the white rogues? Found one at gander today but ended up leaving it there do to long check out lines. Figured if it didnt work out in the white color it would be easy anough to change it.

Those glow in the darks are excellent on the great lakes for salmon and trout. Not sure how they’d work on the river. My experience with glow cranks on inland lakes and rivers has been the light green glows work the best, especially around sunset. Glow plastics work great all year.
