Hit the pond at dark with my neighbor and fished the north end.We boated 20+ fish and 1 8-10 pound gator and had about as many hit or shake off.Dark colored HJ 12 with orange on the bottom was the bait of choice.With the bite so good im surprised there are so few boats on the water.The couple of boats I did see,one was H2O and some guy named Rip Lipper.If the weather stays good I just may do it again tonight.
Damn, I need to live closer. Can’t get enough of those big sows! 
Nice seeing you last night Castaway. Mike W. and I tried a few different spots las night from Down by the Casino to Myr Mar, Stairway and Pikes Point. Each spot held and produced fish, but did not reallly figure a pattern out or really knock them dead 
. Worked the 7-11 foot depths . We boated fish on , Tennessee Shad, Firetiger, Black & Gold Husky Jerks, Lazer Craw and Mikes doctored Rogues. Speeds were around 1.4-1.6 mph. with the inside turn producing all the fish except one. We boated fish from 15″ all the way up to almost 26″. Nice night to be out fishing. We fished for almost 5 hours and got off the lake just before 12:30, boating around a dozen fish. That darn work thing got in the way this morning

If the weather holds out I will be making many more trips.Last year I fished till ice up and was one of the last boats on the lake.
Great. I was with James on Sunday night so we saw you out there. Keep posting the open seats and hopefully I can take you on on it some night if that’s ok with you.
