Spent the weekend on Mille Lacs and must say it was not good! Only got one 16″ that would have made a good eater. Wasted most of the night pulling in fish like the ones in the photos. Oh well maybe next month

The first photo is John’s biggest eye ever. taped in at 29″. Here’s another, I can’t recall what this one measured. Midway through the night John started writing the length down. The tally was- two 26 inchers, a 26.5, a 27″, one that went a hair over 28″ and the 29 incher.

Nice fish Don. That big stinky didn’t have a new #9 shallow shad rap in it’s mouth did it? One about that size got away with one of mine last Friday night…….Here stinky, stinky stinky…

I hear you Don, I was out with Holst on Friday night and believe we saw you . We had a bad night also . Didn’t even limit out . We were trying to think back and count on the way home. James would have to back me up on this one, but I think we were around 30 fish being 24″ or larger Like you said not very fun bringing in that many huge, fat fish . 2.5 minutes into the night we had a double that went 25.5″ and 28″. Lets just say the rest of the night pretty much went the same. After getting the lines back into the water we went about another 5 minutes and landed our second double of the evening (around 26.5″ and 25″). What a crappy way to start the night. My buddy boated his personal best 28″ healthy fish that night. Thaks for another great night out on the pond James . Besides the fishing the company wasn’t bad either ! At least I lost my title as being “BIG FISH LOSING BALNKETY BLANK

    I’m sensing sarcasm.
