Rouges, and Husky Jerks were the key for the most part allowing us to pull in nice fish like this
October 22, 2005 at 2:32 pm #391270numbers for my boat per night were in the upper teens for around 8 hours of fishing (including lunch time on the lake ) but lots of fish in the 20’s. 22″ to 25″ were the most comon size, but real nice 27″ fish like this were the highlights of the night
October 22, 2005 at 2:35 pm #391271My longest walleye came on an orange craw HJ in 11 feet of water 120′ back..
thanks to all who made my trip to Mille Lacs an enjoyable time…And to the owners of Hunters Resort…..you and your staff are top notch, and second to none

OuchOctober 23, 2005 at 1:33 am #391335God knows you were easy to find! Follow the red strobe and the smell of brats cooking!
October 23, 2005 at 3:18 am #391352I agree with your “Old Man”. What could we do to make things more fun for you??? Snakes, spiders maybe? Pick on Bob some more? You name it! But remember, I have a low pain tolerance…
October 24, 2005 at 12:25 am #391478Thanks for the memories of a great Mille Lacs fishing trip to all. Dave thanks for the brats, maybe next time I can bring some real Iowa steaks from work. Tuck thanks for the ride. Hook good to see you again.
Nice to meet you Koote, keep those MN guys in line. It takes a tough SD guy to do that from what I can see.
Seriously I met a great group of guys while there. Scoal to all!! I know Craig(pothead)Petersen and Terry(Nelsen) had a great time also. We had lots of laughing and talking on the way back to Iowa.
Craig and I will try to send reports from Chamberlain,SD trips next year as we chase the old eye fish.
Best wishes to all,
Lon Boysen Ia-musk-eye though I better join the best web site on the net.October 24, 2005 at 12:33 am #391485Good post Dave! As many of the walleye pics as we’ve had lately I still can’t get enough. Keep the pics coming guys.
