Well another night out on the pond with Walleye Warrior. He is doing his best trying to convert me from Leech Lake to Mille Lacs.
We started by the casino over the weeds at about 8:00 PM…bang a 26 incher and then another doubler right after that. Closest thing to fish jumping in the boat I have seen in a while but then things slowed down with a fish here and there… 
We did manage to boat 10 fish in the 24 to 26 inch range though. Boy these girls are not pushing themselves away from the dinning table much these days. These are by far the healthiest fish I have seen in years. 
The night went on and we bag a keeper then a piggy and keeper and piggy until the three of us filled out at about 3:00 AM.
The fire tiger number 12 HJ and the old style silver holographic number 7 Shad Rap were the producers for the evening, with a fish every so often on others lures.
Walleye Warrior, if you are thinking about late fall guiding on Mille Lacs, I think it would be a slam-dunk for you… 
Oh, one more thing. Every year I say to myself, you dummy why are you winterizing your boat when it 20 degrees outside. Well I can tell you one thing; this year will be no different…
