I must say that looking at all the pictures of the hawg walleyes and everyone’s smiling faces is certainly leaving me feeling envious and wishing I had a bigger boat so I could join in on the fun. I think I have to make arrangements to get in on the action next year, even if it means going further in debt and upgrading to a boat that can handle the bigger water.

As hard as it is to see the pigs and not be out there, keep posting your pictures and info and I’ll keep fishing vicariously through you. I’m heading out on Yellow Lake tonight and although it’s no Mille Lacs, I’m going to do my best to bend the rod a bit myself. Good luck this weekend!

I agree, you guys did it to me to. I’m going to do my best to save a day of vacation and head north next fall for a long weekend. Even if it means giving up a day of deer hunting, heck or high water I will be in on the fun next year!

Dave, there were a bunch of crazy Iowans up here last weekend. I met quite a few of them, nice guys, even though they were from Iowa!!

Marbles, when the full moon comes, you need to put a post in this forum or the open seat forum. There are lots of guys like me who would take you out for a night. However, the only thing I ask, don’t wet yourself when that first 28″ + fish comes up out of the depths!!

I got lucky enough to start this about 4 years ago. Once you spend a night on the pond catching sumos, you’ll wonder why you waited so long to go.

You got that right Kooty. But it does warm you up a bit when you first go. That reminds me, you might want to wash off that back seat.

This time of year you dont need a big boat to fish Mille Lacs.Just plan on fishing the side the wind is blowing from. There are lots of fish close to shore.

You can bet that I’ll be either posting prior to the full moon next year either regarding open seats or where to buy the beverages in celebration of pulling some huge eye’s into my new boat. Tight lines everybody!

I have very low standards when it comes to fishing partners. When anyone catches a 29 in my boat, I fully expect them to pee a little. I know I did!!!

    Marbles,

Any time in October can be good.

If you cant make it up on the full moon faze, you can still get into some nice fish.

What are you trying to say here? If Dman did wet himself then that means he got some on my seat when we took the pix. I thought it smelled a little funny.
