Well guys, there is no doubt in my mind that October Full Moon & Mile Lacs trolling have now become #1 on my “Must do List” for October! What a great weekend it was for fishing Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights!! We boated limits of slotters all weekend with different guys each night! Friday night we boated a 25″ & a 26″, Saturday our biggest fish were both around 24″ and Monday night I landed a 27″ that I am guessing tipped the scale at around 8-1/2 – 9lbs!! I really have some good friends now !! It was great talking to some of you while out and I hope to here from a few of you maybe on Thursday and Friday night!

Jack, good to meet you on Monday night at the ramp!

I have my pics posted down a couple posts!!

    Jim,

Great to see you last Monday/Tues. Good luck this next weekend. I just asked my wife if she would like to go, don’t think she will, but I might.

Your pics have to be 100K each, if you can’t resize them, just email them to me and I’ll get them on here for you.

Hope to get out next weekend.

    Good luck.

Just looked at the FAA/NWS weather forecast for winds at Brainerd: it says evening up to 9pm wind SE 6-8mph, then up to 3am it turns out of the south, still 6-8mph. clouds expect two layers, but should be some breaks. not solid overcast. moon will be more hidden, than visible at times. hope that helps.

    Jack..

walleye worrior..when posting your pix you need to get rid of the crud in the name of your photo…

here is what the name of your photo is 246909-Craig%5C%27s_Piggy.jpg

here is what you should have 246909_craig_27_piggy.jpg

make sence ? just rename your photo and you should be good to go !!!

ecnook, I don’t have all that crud in the name of the picture until I post it on this site? If I attach the same picture to an email it is just fine, but as soon as I post it on this site, all that crud gets added in? Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    W W ~

I think that crud is due to using the SPACE BAR when naming your photo in the first place. Try renaming your image without using spaces in the name. If that does not work, email me or Dave your photo and we’ll see what’s up.

This is a good buddy of mine and a legend on the local lakes around St. Cloud. Does anyone remember the defensive coach Foage Fozio?? This is a 25″ taken midway through our evening!

No it’s not truly the “COACH” but he is a true legend to my buddies and I! He’s a hoot to have in the boat and he is definately a man with knowledge!!
I am going to keep the boat in the yard until after hunting season just in case I get the chance to go out again!!
