After looking at some ML pics around 1pm I decided I had to head back up for Monday night.

Finally am able to get back here and complete my post. Called Jerry from my club, and he was ready to go in an hour. and got up to the casino ramp around 6pm. Over all night was slow for us. Think the Saturday cold front may have put off a better bite, and also think having to use my big motor for trolling may not have been the best idea either in flat calm water. At 8:45pm, I was doing some S turns and doing some occasional rod pumping, in 11 feet in the bay, I said aloud, now what am I going to do if I get a strike, at that VERY second, had a very hard hit, and Jerry thought I just had to be kidding, but the heavy rod pumping said I wasn’t. this fish hit so hard, and fought so strongly that I just knew it could not be a Walleye, so had Jerry get out the Musky net. It did turn out to be the 27 inch fish shown in a post below. mostly used Husky Jerks, in blue/Silver, and a HJ Perch Glass. over weed tops in 10-12 feet. Walleye Warrior was down on Ind.Pt. and we headed down there for a few passes. got none there so went back up to the bay. OVer all fishing was slow for us. We had 5 Walleyes, a 27, 26 3/4, 24, 23, 23 and a 34 inch Northern that I was praying was a Walleye.

The first pic is Jerry with his best at 24 inches.

This last pic is a 26 3/4. even tho we only had 5 Walleye and one 34 inch Northern, the size was very nice, we did not have a Walleye under 23 1/2 inches. more later.

Are you sure those aren’t the same fish from different angles? They both look 27″ to me.
Great work, Jack. Very nice, healthy fish.

I’ll have to make sure James actually takes those fish off so I know it’s a different one.

    Trigger,
Yes they are two diff fish, and know that you are pulling my leg.
But for the sake of dicussion. the 26″ has a large growth on it’s anal fin, and no mark’s are on the 27″.
    Yes it IS fun. Jack..
