Ok lets here some game plans for the weekend!

I will be out Friday only, as I have to get back for a glup concert on Saturday night

Depending on the wind I would like to hit the west-northwest shore starting with the #18 on one line and a HJ14 on the other, one standard color the other clown or something along those lines.

starting out in 8-12ft and moving up to 4-7 by the end of the night.

    anyone else care to share?

I’ll be out Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights.

On Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be somewhere between the casino and Garrison. We’ll be pulling shallow SR7s in “doctored chartreuse”, perch and firetiger, as well as large HJs. I’m thinking that slower than 2 mph will get more action this weekend given the falling temps, but I’ve been wrong before. Many times, in fact.

On Monday I’ll be doing whatever James tells me to do. Within reason, that is.

Is channel 82 still going to be the IDA help line?

I want to fish the NW area of the lake. Its hard to leave the biting fish though. Also last year October full moon with Dustin we had a good bite going in a spot I have not tried yet this year, so that is another option. Hope we have manageable winds to have the ability to run and gun if necessary! Still plan on fishing shallow the 5′-7’fow, inside edges of the weeds!! Stick baits and shallow running shad raps!!
Who knows its going to be fun fishing!!!!

I will be hitting the west side of the lake. Not sure where yet. I will let the wind determine my starting spots.

I will likely start out in the shallows 5-7 feet, but will make an occasional pass on the outside edge of the weeds if we aren’t doing anything shallow. I plan to start out at 1.8 mph, and letting the fish tell me from there.

If I have to, I’ll go to the east side and follow Jon J or Hooks around. Let’s hope for a NW wind!! I’m sick of the SE crap.

yes sir, but worst for our gang still means a ton of fish. Depends what your after I guess, it will be the best small fish bite in even more years than that but that is not real important to us.

I plan on starting in some lowland CRP and then working fence lines by miday. If we don’t have a limit by then, I’ll sit my golden down and have a long talk with her about hard work, dedication, and pride, then we’ll walk the outside of cornfields/ditches and see If I can’t get her to flush a bird or two.

Does that sound like a good plan?

I’ll be heading out to Anderson’s reef and circling however many times it takes. Possibly troll along the west or southwest shoreline too. Eventually I will go home and go to bed. Then I will get up grab the dog and shotgun and head to my Dad’s and hunt pheasants until I limit or run out of gas. Then it is back home to go to friends house for dinner with the family. Hopefully that won’t go to late. Then back home and crash……… TMI?
