    Have fun guys!
Good luck to all fishing the big pond this weekend!
Looking forward to hearing all about it next week.
    Have a couple for me!

I may just have to talk my wife into swinging by the Hookriede residence for a quick and a “ALL-IN” hand on Saturday!

I think I will try to make it. That is IF I have some fish to contribute.

Tonights shore fishing was a bust.

I wouldn’t worry about fish. Just bring you wallet. There is a bell inside the door that all IDA members are going to ring so we identify each other. Seriously, don’t worry about fish. I’m betting there will be plenty!

    EVERYONE READ THIS!!

In this weeks issue of Outdoor News Editor Rob Drieslein says in the “Mille Lacs update” on page 3, that as of last week, none of the bands had filed for permits to net this fall. So if you guys are seeing gill nets out there as some have said in your reports this week, you might want to contact the DNR ASAP!!

Dan Perron is the CO for the S.W. part of the lake. Tom Fellegy (a.k.a. puddlepounder) knows him and has his number.

Good Luck fishing guys. I won’t be making it up after all this weekend. ( I read somewhere they weren’t going to be biting!! )

Be safe out there, and don’t anyone ring the bell, except Kooty!

Hate to say it, but I guess I won’t make it even though I have the fish cleaned and ready. Why? I just looked at the map to see where Hunters is. I’m running low on funds, as always, and Hunters is just more of a haul than I’m willing to make. It’s gotta be close to an hours drive 1 way from my place. Ohh Well.

Sorry I couldn’t be there to throw a pheasant in the pot but young grandson was taken to the emergency room with a high fever so my priorities changed. He’s ok but it would have been fun to see if Tuck was up to the challenge of frying a bird. The offer still stands for the next fish fry as hunting was good.

Putz. I’m glad to hear all is well at the homefront with the grandson.
I missed out on the fry for the second time.
Someday I’ll get to meet you guys. I still need a picture to put on here. Hopefully it’s of me holding a big girl ‘eye. Ya hear that James?

Thanks to Tom A.K.A. Puddlepounder and Tuck for cooking. And of course Goerge at hunters for letting us take over the place for the afternoon. He put on a good spread for us.

    A picture of the cooks.
    Good times with good friends.

A huge thank you to everyone that helped with the fish fry. This is definitely an annual event that needs to continue for years to come.

I also wanted to thank George for ringing the bell. The food was awesome and the company couldn’t have been any better.
