i talked to george today and he is happy to hear we are comming. i worked out a deal for him to fry up the fish and we will get fried potatoes and pork and beans from him so it will cost a couple of bucks apiece. i hope that is ok with everybody. he said he would like a head count as early as possable. i’am thinking noon on the 17th if this will work for most let me know so i can set it up with george. thanks in advance…..tom f

just to add: the date and time are still to be determend so let me know what will work. he said weekdays will be better for him……….

Do you guys mind a non-fisherman stopping by on Monday? I’ll be coming back from pheasant hunting so won’t have any fish for the fry.

Tuck, can you fry a pheasant in that cooker?

It looks like I may have a guide trip or two this weekend, so there is a good chance I’ll be there!! Since I’ll be fishing just during the daytime, I’ll be glad to stop into Hunters and give everyone a wakeup,… say about…8-9AM!!! No need for all you guys a perfectly good day away is there?

I should get a confirmation tommorrow about the trip Sat. and will let you all know if I’ll be making it. Should be fun! Oh yeah, FYI, there is a decent daytime bite going on the sand right now! Mostly slots, but a few piggies are in the mix too!

it’s all set up. all we need is the walleyes. fish, fried potatoes and pork & beans will be on the menue. the weather report looks good for monday, lets hope that the weather guessers are right. good luck fishing this weekend and stay safe out there, there will be alot of boats on the lake after dark. oh ya just a reminder lights must be on at sunset, not dark. i have a guy down here by my that does not have a stern light and his bow light is not to bright either. his excuse is he is from arizona and using his brother-in-laws boat and it is a 12′ boat and you don’t need a stern light on a 12′ boat. i was out last week with wardan dan and he gave him a brake and told him to get off of the lake right now. i’am rambling now, just put your lights on at sunset!!!!!
