Got up to the pond late Friday night and decided to fish the east side due to the colder than expected weather and having to turn on the heat in the house. It took a while to convince the wife that this was going to be fun but the northern lights were shining and the water was steaming so we headed out on the lake just before midnight.Started out trolling in front of Liberty Beach for about an hour with no bites so we headed up to Lakeside.Lakeside wasnt any better and it was about 2AM and COLD so I decided to head back south. On the way I decided to make a pass in front of Hunters and in a couple of minutes we had a fish on.We fished till 3AM and boated 7 fish and lost a few others. All the fish were 14-19 we kept 2 smaller fish and put the rest back.Fish were biting on #5 diving shad raps and #10 HJ both in Firetiger in 8 FOW.Just like last weekend these fish seem to turn on around 2 AM.I didnt get out Saturday night but I talked to some people that were doing well bobber fishing during the day on the edge of 3 mile.Just a reminder with the weather and water cooling down be careful out there and bring warmer clothes than I did otherwise you might freeze your Good luck and see ya on the full
