Indian Nets Watch Out!

    The Indians have nets out on the north side of Indian point in the bay, close to shore in about 6 feet of water.

    We had a close call and were able to lift the motor up and float over them.

    They have them marked with red jugs but fat lot of good they do when it’s dark out.

    You think a little reflective tape or paint would make sense.

    The MN DNR had nets out on Big Point during the Sept full moon.

    Sounds like the fish being caught in the DNR nets are fat and healthy….2 24’s they netted on the west side weighed over 6 pounds and a 23 went over 5 pounds….these are the football shaped beasts that we all love to catch in the fall!!!

    Unfortunatly they are not healthy after being stuck in a net.
