I just got done checking my prop for fishing line and sure enough there was some in there. Not mine because it was mono and I have been running power pro since I last checked it.Its a good idea to take a look as it is a lot cheaper than seals and lower units.Make sure you look between the thrust washer and the seal as this is where it usually ends up.Good luck fishing

Thanks for the reminder! It is amazing how much line is in the water

When I go out fishing I usually bring in 30-50 feet of line I snagged looking for fish. It’s gotten worse the last few years. Some places the people are so lazy they break off bobbers in trees along the shore that they could easily reach. Some of those trees have a heck of a lot of ornament.

I pulled about 150′ of 10# mono w/ a new Rogue off the basin side of Half Moon a couple of weeks ago. Tried the Rogue on Sat night & it was good for a 22 1/2″ er. Mono went in to the transom well.
