Day bite?

    Anybody have a report on a walleye day bite? Might head up tomorrow for the day.

    We trolled around the west side for 6 hours during the day and got one smallie and one perch around the garrison reef/pikes peak area – dusk/night bite was better shallow water under 6′. Good luck and tight lines!!

    I have been getting fish on the rocks during the daytime….8-11 feet with a leech under a bobber. Flamingo and Lakeside reef on the eastside has been good to me! Fish with a small jig if the wind is blowing, change to just a plain hook with calm winds.

    The leech’s are a little hard to get this time of year, I have also caught fish bobber fishing with crawlers under my bobber.

    HWY 65 bait south of mora had a good supply of leachs still last week. Even jumbos.
