Well now that the power is back on and my insurance man phone is busy I have time to post a report.Tuesday night I headed up to the pond with Skindog and Mike W.We landed the boat at Garrison at dark and headed for the weeds.Fishing was much like the night before only a few more boats working the weed line.The fish were biting as soon as we got there but they are still scattered out and not real aggressive.We fished the same area most of the night and put 8 fish in the box between 14-20 inches and released about a dozen smaller fish.Like the night before we had many fish that hit the rap but didnt hook up.We were trolling in 5-8 FOW with #5 shallow running shad raps in the craw color brown on top orange on bottom was still the top producer.We also tried one other weed break that had produced some pigs the weekend before but never got a bite.We ended calling it a night around 2 AM.All in all it was a decent night of fishing and was a beautiful night to be on the water.Although full moons clear skys and cool nights seem to go together dont be fooled that these fish wont turn on without it.I believe water temp is a big factor and with the weather cooling down I think the fishing will improve.I am headed up tonight for the weekend and will try to put up a report when I get back.Skindog and Mike W it was a pleasure fishing with you guys and you are welcome to an open seat and net my fish anytime.See ya on the pond or give me a call on 82.
