I had a decent outing saturday night running #5 jointed orange craw shad raps.

Mainly focused on weeds. I have a few questions about weeds.

Do the weedy areas holding smaller fish now attract the big girls later in the fall?

Once the weeds start to lay down, do you run your cranks closer to the bottom, or a little higher up?

    Thanks,

    Kraig

Just curious how far back you were running those cranks?
I was in the rocks with jointed #5 Grappler shad and i was hitting bottom at 8′ and only 50′ back! Just curious, thats all!!!!!

I was fishing 5 ft to 7 ft of water.

I was running 55 ft of of 14 lb Fireline.

Grappler shad has much larger lip than the jointed shap rap which has a very small lip.
