Crap! I tried leeches in 6 fow Friday night with no luck. Shoulda figured that’s where they would be on Sat with that wind. Sure was strange though, looking over the lake on Sat pm and Sunday am and not seeing one boat on the NE side. How am I supposed to GPS my fishing spots if there isn’t a crowd of boats somewhere?

Josh and I commented the same thing yesterday morning, we didn’t see another boat until almost 8:00AM.
    Very quite!!!
I figured with the wind building saturday that the fish may move shallow, but yesterday we gave it an hour and only had one perch.
We then pulled cranks and of course I pulled some of my new muskie baits to see how they would run.

Not a bite? But thats fishing!!!

Where could I get a pound of large (or the prefered size) Saturday morning? Or is it too late?

Dean at Agate Bay Resort said he still had leeches. Don’t know the size or price as I brought my own. Probably should call first. 320-684-2233. Good luck getting them to answer the phone though.

I would try Vados bait it may be one of the few places that still might sell them by the pound this time of year.

You should check with Malmo Market also. Tony, the bait wholesaler that many of the places deal with has plenty of leeches, and I’ve heard, but can not confirm, that Malmo market will let you hand pick the ones you want from what he has in stock.
