I fished the mud on Sunday from 8am to 2pm. We fished the boot the entire time and did very well. I got a 28.25″, 3 just under 20, and another 10 or so under 16 inches. My dad got a 25, 23, 22, 21, and a half dozen under 16 inches. We did the best on the NW corner of the flat. We had a few doubles in the same spot. There were a few tourney boats drooling as I released the big girl. They also watched me put a few of those 19.5″ in the livewell too. I couldn’t help but laugh because I have been in their shoes a few times. The wind was blowing hard all day, but the fishing was great. We brought home our 8 and released some nice fish.

    Nothing secret about the “Boot”.

It is just a secret what side of the flat to work, pending on the wind!!!!
