These crank and board reports are great!!! Thanks for all the info, I am heading up this weekend and am very excited to see how it will work out for us. Has anybody “bobbered up” in the late evening lately? Has anybody heard any reports? I have heard only one report of 10 – 14 fow near the sloppy joe doing pretty well in the evening. I thought it sounded pretty shallow though.

I did some bobber fishing the past few days. Saturday night from 7-9pm we did get a few small ones (13-14″) on the east side in 12-14ft. I did see some boats yesterday anchored up in 24-26ft and catching more sizeable fish during the middle of the day (go figure). I was pulling cranks and not doing as well. Let us know how it goes.

There was a very hot bobber bite from 9pm to about 10:30 pm out on the Flats the couple weekends before the 4th. We were in 25′ of water! Did not try it last weekend! Let us know how you do!
