Anyone have any reports on the north end sand bite for skis on mille? Heading up tonight for a try and going to give it a whirl for something different. Have beat up the south end weeds enough for now.
    any info would be great.

I haven’t been to the north end yet ski fishing, but with the weather that we have had, they should be there!!!

got the itch really bad yesterday left work at 1030 and got on the water at 1. fished the north sand from 1 miles east of wealth wood to up to anglers inn. and a few other spots when I got there I didn’t see another boat I thought this is going to be great with the front coming through tonight it gonna be good

well 815pm came and lighting was fast approaching so I follow suit of the other 2 boats that launch sometime and didn’t see them.. got back to shore and out of 3 boats, one that was there since 7 am Not one of us saw a fish much less hook one.

couldn’t believe it! the water was just disgusting! in some spots there was less than 6″ of visability. the surface temp was 85 degrees so I was kinda skeptical all day. fished shallow, fished deep, tossed bucktails, cranks, topwater, gliders, dawgs, trolled the same nothing nada zilch!

…I fished Thursday night/Friday am with the same results. We also fished walleye on the north end humps and found a mud line that reminded me of fishing the line between the St. Croix and Mississippi in Prescott. How long does it typically take for the water to clear up from these conditions? Water clarity in the shallows was 6 inches in places.
