18 Fisher go to my report and read the last paragraph. When I was rigging, I was using a 9-11′ foot snells. Red hook with chartuese bead with either crawler or leech. Couldn’t tell if one was better or not. Bobber fishing was lt. green and white 1/8 oz. jig and leech. Good Luck. Watch out you might be hooked after you expereince the pond.

IF that don’t work try Brets theory! “WHITE BIKINIS”

The Mille Lacs “Whiffer” map has a lot of good info for the beginner. What side of the lake are you going out of? The east side reefs and points are still putting out fish during the evening “Bobber Bite”. My spinner/crawler bite put a couple fish in the boat last weekend. I was trolling areas away from the weekend crowds. 3-mile, July, Highway are all areas worth a check.

Good luck and let us know how you do.
