Has anybody heard any reports of the mayflies hatching this week? I read some hustle and bustle on another site that was aludeing to this miserable phenomenon. Don’t worry I am knocking on wood as we speak…

I was in Port Clinton, OH over the weekend and the hatch was so bad it looked like a snowstorm at night. The entire town shut lights off to keep from attracting them. On the plus side it was just the start and the walleyes were going nuts feeding!

We are still waiting for it in LAX. When it happens it is tough to deal with on the water. If you can ignore the hatch….you will have good fishing no matter if it is bass to cats
    Good luck fishing people

Some started to hatch last night. The things are floating in like big slicks across the water.
Tuck was a half mile away today when he saw me and asked over the radio if I could see the slick next to his boat and I could, about an hour later they had drifted to me!

The wind is helping with them on the lake, but go anywhere still and there getting bad.

It started at Big Point, and drifted through Hunters. It was a big one.
Hook showed me how you can hear the bugs in the woods behind his house! It was AMAZING! As deaf as I am, I could hear the buzz. Wow!
