    Hi,
I’m headed up there on Sunday. Just curious to know what has been going on. Not looking for any specifics – just some general tips.

Also, I told the guy that I’m going with that if the ‘eyes don’t cooperate, that I don’t want to beat a dead horse. Would it make any sense to sling some musky baits at this time of year ? Thanks!

Most are prefishing for tournaments this weekend so they are on the water. Did you see Lip Rippers report?
    Good luck.

I have been up there the last few weeks and the walleye bite is going pretty good, we have been fishing the flats, I tried spinners and caught some fish but most have been on lindys 10 ft snell red hook and a leech or crawler, crawlers geting most of the fish. we have found some fish on top and some on the breaks you just have to fish until you get one and then cover the area.We also fished muskies a little and saw 3 fish, one giant, they were all sun bathing in the shallows, I managed to get one to follow but they still seemed very slow and negative.I have to work this weekend but plan on hitting it hard over the 4th.
