I want to extend a big thank you to all the contributing members of this website who have helped me add a new method to fishing walleye.
Took dad out Saturday afternoon for some walleye fishing. We started out fishing 3-way crankbaits over some SE gravel reefs(felt like rock). We CPR’ed a nice 24″ fish.
Out to the flats for some rigging and to give dad’s arm a rest. Picked up two 14″s and a nice 19″. His blue hook seemed to be the preferrred set-up.
Ran back to a reef at sunset for some slip bobbering with a leech. It was fast action for 15 minutes. We boated and released a small walleye, small perch and two walleyes just under 13″.
It was a great day to be out in the boat with dad. He didn’t gripe too much. Thanks again everyone!
