Call the Wharf, see if Darren will move it for you. He just bought a 5 ton millitary truck, that could move a house..

Why don’t you just pay someone to hook up one of the lake trucks and pull it across the lake to Big Point? It would probably be alot easier. Hauling those big houses on the hiway is a big pain in the a$$, especially if you have any wires to get under.

Call McQuoids Inn and ask if Aaron is willing to make a few dollars. He’s getting ready for the FLW tour and could probably use a few extra dollars.

about 5 yrs ago I moved 10′ x20′ from agate bay to hunters point and just used my 3/4 ton to drag it down the road.

Now would be a good time of year. not much traffic up there now. there are no wires you would have to worry about on 27/47 what ever you want to call it on the east side

The wires aren’t on the hiway, but they are a problem when you are driving in and out of resorts on the side streets. Besides, its easier to just hook up the chains and pull the house where you want to go than to have to wench it up onto a trailer and all that other stuff.

Thanks for your replies, this house is 12′ high at the peak and too heavy for a pickup to pull. Am going to see if lake trucks are still willing to pull. Its a long way from there. But the house was a good buy. ok we’ll see. heading up right now .

We had the house moved by a guy out of isle. He was cheap[150.00] and did a great job with such a big house. Only had to push up 2 wires. He has a welding business there.
