roads to flats

    wondering if you are able to get off the roads with a four wheel drive..and does hunters point have a road out to the blue jug?

    Yes, and yes. Take the road to the right out of Hunter’s to the jug.

    Last week the eastside of Blue Jug was Hot! George has a road “kind of plowed” all around the flat. The south tip is just 200 ft or so south of his road.

    Great. I have a GPS setting from the south end from a few years back. It’s called ‘poop hump’. Long story, tell ya tomorrow night.

    thanks for the info…. last year we werent able to get out there for the contest, had to fish right near the road, we had pretty good luck near the hunters point shacks last year…. i took third, i won a vista cam, and the thing hasnt worked right since i got it talked to the owner of the company and he went belly up

    as far as driving cross country, it is possable. tuesday a friend of mine came all the way across the lake, cash’s landing (casino public landing) to hunters point resort. don’t travel without a shovel. we have recieved about 6″ of new snow last night and the night before. the new snow is really light and fluffy. not too much of a factor. the old snow is hard and crusty….. tom f
