I was going to head up Friday nite but due to the weather didnt make it out till Saturday.Saturday afternoon I caught a couple of small walleyes and a couple of small perch. After dark didnt have a bite till 2 AM when a nice 26 incher showed up.Man that is fun when your half asleep.Picked up a 15 incher at 6 AM,still half asleep so I let him go.Sunday was about the same as Saturday during the day. With the snow on Friday getting around off the roads is getting very difficult as a lot of people are finding out, lots of shoveling going on.You might want to put a shovel and a tow strap on your list.Another thing is with this snow there is a lot more weight on the ice and required me to block up my house another 4 inches. You may want to check on your house if you havnt been there for a while.Might head back up tomorrow for a little snowmobiling and fishing and will try to post a report when I can.

Sounds like the bite slowed from the pre-cold snap bite. Some guys sat on the mud for 2 days without a bite. A flurry at sunset out on 8 is what I found..only fished 2 hours after brainerd tourney. A lot more snow on Mille Lac then I expected.
