I was there a week ago Tuesday and in the south end, east side, and west side they were in full spawn in the areas I was in. Both male and females on the bed. when I returned this past Sunday some of the same fish were still there while other new fish had moved in. Only males this time though.
So?? How did the tourney go???
The tourney went great!1st and 2nd place over 19 pounds.
It took over 16 pounds just to cash a check.
No smallies brought to scales,anglers reported lots of smallies caught but not one 21″er was caught.
Big bass was just under 6pounds,this is a great fishery and don’t over look the largemouths.
I hope other bass tourneys will have the courage that Mark [F.O.M] had a couple of years ago amd Team Supreme anglers had to fish this great lake.
Alot of our anglers also reported missing some toads largemouths.
Dave, one of the tourney boats fished my boat harbor. They were in a green Ranger/Cabelas on the side! when I talked with them….they needed one more fish!
