2005 FLW @ Mille lacs

The 2005 FLW formerly RCL Walleye League tourney is set for Memorial weekend. Sat the 28th at Myr Mar. My old stomping grounds.

Just think of the mess they’ll be on the lake with it being the first holiday fishing weekend. Will be fun watching that bumper boat bunch! If the winter starts any later than it is now we may still have ice then. LOL

I know, that seems crazy. That marina is going to be a mess. I’m sure they want to see more fish, the last two years have been weak for late June. But there are plenty of places to dump in, I plan on being there if I can get time off to pre-fish. Most of my off time is spent on the Wacker and that $550 hat.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be fishing this one. It would be nice you guys could suggest a landing close that may not be as hectic. I’ll touch base when it gets closer. BTW, I’ll be the one on the stage doing the hulkamania flex after the win!!!!

That is funny! I can picture that now!!! Just make sure you wear the old “hulk” muscle shirt and have a dew rag……

Me too, I will be sporting one of those shirts that say “staff” on the back in a size small.

Can’t you just see it, some pasty white fat fisherman like myself with and IDA T-shirt 3 sizes too small going nuts on the stage!!

If anyone is interested, I would like to enter this as a co-angler. Anybody in search of a partner? I will be up there anyway and this is a good reason not to do yard work at the cabin.

For once I have to agree with Hook, That’s going to be a mess! I might come up just to watch the bumper boats!!! The marina will be a mess. I’m not passing up my annual trip to Winni that weekend with the guy’s. No way in HE**! What a way to Pi@@ off alot of families,wifes and whoever else.

I have been doing that since I was in highschool which is like 5 years ago.
I missed last year because I was busy finishing 10th on the co-angler side at the Devils Lake RCL but other than that I hadn’t missed one in years.

I will be doing the FLW on the pond so I am not going to make it up there….well then again…the FLW is only Sat…I could drive to the cabin Sat night and come up and fish Winnie on Sun….hmmmm…I might have to do that. I could show you how to catch fish up there.

Oh yeah and as for you Kooty….you do know there is no drinking in these tournaments right???? That was my toughest adjustment.

I will answer for Chappy, since I think he is out playing in Iowa somewhere. We usually schedule the trip from Thurs. and leave for home on Tues. So come on up and “pop a top” with us.
