I’m hoping to hit ML Tuesday night. Here’s the question: East side rocks or west side weeds? I almost always fish the east side but the last few trips there have been underwhelming so maybe it’s time for a change. Whaddya think guys?

Head East Sailor. Best bite in a few years. I must add that I never fish the west side. But we slammed them this year.

I have to agree with Jon. This past full moon bite was the best I have experienced since 10/31/02. From the amount of camera flashes we saw in the darkness there were other boats finding fish also.

Thanks to everyone who voted. I didn’t end up getting out until 11/5. The wind out of the west plus the poll convinced me to try the west side. Launched at Garrison, trolled around in front of the access for a while, zero. Went down to Albans Bay, zero. Got a 21″ in Wigwam Bay plus a nice pike (maybe 9 lbs.) Came back toward Garrison and ended up with five, 21″, 21″, 21.5″, 23″, and 26.5″ plus another nice pike. Clown was the color, HJ-10 and HJ-12s at about 1.5 mph.
