I read in the local paper this week that the water patrol has pulled the marker bouy’s on Mille Lacs Lake. For those of you coming to Mille Lacs this next week, beaware of this if you are near any of the shallow reefs (most problem areas might be on the southend of the lake). The water level in the lake is down a bit. On the other hand you might not see the bouy’s in the dark anyhow? Just know your surroundings……….

You sure don’t want to knock off the lower unit in the middle of the night on Mille Lacs!

Just a heads up guy’s!!!!!!! Good Luck and I look forward to seeing some of you soon.

NO….I’ve been sick with a BAD cold for the last 2 1/2 weeks, I almost have it kicked. It’s been really wild out front with all the wind the past few day’s. I have not seen many boats out all week. I hope to get out later this week. I’ve been busy finishing two house’s that we built. Work is going to slow down soon…

They always seem to pull the markers off the lake AND pull the docks on the public ramps very early on Mille Lacs. Mille Lacs gets a lot of fall fishing action and I have never understood why it is such a race to get it ready for ice over.
