…….Claimed another lure last night but that’s how it goes sometimes. Heard some guys on the radios last night that were catching fish all up and down the east side, water temp consistant with what others are reporting.

Fishing was slow for me last night but Wed. night put 2 limits worth of action in my memory banks! Chartreuse/White Berkley Frenzy Suspending FireStick and an HJ-10 in clown were the successful lures, each with 4 catches. Fish were 18-21″ long.

Winds tolerable, air temps not too bad, but the bulk of the action does seem to be coming on VERY late. Rain forcasted so bring your wet gear if you’re heading up!

Good luck all and thanks Dino for all your hospitalities, as well as Jon J. for the additional company!

You ain’t kidding about this Kid. Our last 3 nights out we’ve seen a VERY marked increase in fish activity AFTER 2 AM. It makes for a long night but that last hour or two the last couple nights has really saved our trips. First the eaters get rolling and then after a bit all the little guys dry up and then the bigger fish come to play. It might even be worth it to take a nap from sun down to midnight and then head out.

The time thing is always been somthing we have watched we find that a nap prior to our friday night trip up seemed to be the way to go . Every fall it seems that fish dont get active till after midnight. We fish from 11 pm to sun up. But as we all know as true we also hear the “You should have been here earlier.
