Is it wrong to think about James at night??

So I just carried my last load of junk out of the basement for the night. I look to the east and see this beautiful full moon rising. I looked at the boat sitting in the garage, thinking another two months I’ll be sitting with James on the pond catching 25″ + eyes all night long. Can’t wait buddy!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been staring at that very same thing these last couple nights! It has turned a tad warmer so those cool fall temps we had going for us last week aren’t around to complete the feeling but before ya’ know it I’ll be up there on the pond!

You, Gary and Hedder in the same boat at the same time?! Should be a good night of funnin’ and fishing. But let me ask you this… as the only repeat guy in the boat that night do you know which chair to claim as your own this year?

Thinking about James at night? I would’nt go that far…..but I have been going over my crank baits and thinking about fall fishing. This past Aug. Full moon does’nt get my attention as the Sept. and Oct ones dooooooooo! We will have to keep an eye on the water temps in the near future….cooler water, better fishing!

I have not fished much since July and I’m ready to make up for that forsureeeeeeee.

John……..If you are thinking about James, instead of tuna eyes……….well, maybe I don’t want to ride with ya.. …….and maybe James doesn’t want you in the boat… ….But then again, James didn’t complain about you thinking of him….. …..Things that make you go hummmmmmmmmmm………uh——–ohhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

I’m going elk hunting in 26 days, don’t get me wrong, I’m excited as all heck. I can’t wait to see the sun rise on the Wyoming landscape from the saddle of my pony. I can very honestly say I’ve thought about the Oct full moon way more though. Think about it, I like my odds of potentially catching a state record muskie, northern and maybe a walleye out of the same body of water.

James, I got my seat all picked out. I’m not going to get out-fished two years in a row by the tag along. I guess I should warn Gary how “big” I am with a 12ver in me.

By the way, I didn’t get that conceal/carry for no reason………And I don’t see any signs banning them on James boat……….Besides, a guy needs a good .45 to blast those big eyes inorder to get them in the boat………Just like old musky fishing……….
