FROM THE OUTDOOR NEWS Jessica Polston, age 17, of Excelsior caught this 54-inch muskie while fishing Lake Mille Lacs on Aug. 22. The fish hit a J18 perch-colored floating Rapala.
Dang! I thought all you walleye and bass guys would be happy to have that tuna removed from the water!!!!
I bet the walleyes and bass are happy…………they probably sleep a little better knowing that “creature” is gone…………
To bad people can’t get into their minds CPR of trophy fish that are soooooo slooooooow to grow that big. That fish is probably 20 to 25 years old………..Older than the girl who caught it………….
Yeah, I know it’s her right, and Gene tries to get his clients to release the fish and make a replica but the customer has the choice. Wonder what it costs to mount that big a fish? Better question is where do you get a wall big enough to hang it on?
According to some reports I read, they are having a coffee table mount made with the Musky chasing a Walleye, chasing a Perch. Sounds like an expensive project. Especially since every mount will have to be viewable 360°.
