    Click on the videos from twin pines of the ice today, looks like a pretty good pile in front of Red door as well. should have plenty of open water for opener this year.

    I live two doors down from this large pile.
    This is the same location as your photo.
    I took this on Sunday quite a difference .
    County 35 was blocked twice today more to come unless the wind switches.

    They say switching NW by tomorrow afternoon, though I dont recall the wind speed. Its sure going to be interesting here for a while, a lot of the ice is still 16″ for the most part. Would not surprise me to see big piles on the east side too.

    I Drove by the east side thursday taking note of the open water. UP on the Rainy River saturday we were discussing sunday’s windy forecast. I jokingly said that 169 will be closed due to ice….Sunday i couldn’t help but laugh when i got a text that 169 was closed…

    Hope you guys living there or owning property don’t have much if any damage!
