Still shallow rocks/Gravel, rigging or bobbers. Start in 17-21 during the day and move up shallow for the evening bite.

Rigging or pulling spinners over the deeper south end gravel will put an occasional slot walleye and some dandy perch in the boat. When working these areas you need to sift through a lot of small perch. The key is putting in a good 6-8 hours and keep moving. It’s been rare to pull more than 1-2 slots off the same spot.

Thanks guys. We did make it up there this weekend. You might of noticed me out there running around the south east corner. I was the one in the jon boat.
After spending the last 2 months trolling on pool 2 I was not ready to sit still and watch bobbers. We oppted for watching others watch bobbers and trolled the deeper water a little ways off from them. Ended up with plenty of perch and one 27.5″ eye for the trip. The walleye was caught over 30′ of water about 16′ down. She hit a spoon bill rouge off the north end of some rock island. We did not have a clue as ware to go and where lucky to stumble across this nice fish.

It was a fun trip to the lake. Thinking I might have to make a few more trips up there with the boat.

As far as keeper fish go we did manage to troll up a few keeper in Osceola on sunday. I have not trolled up a walleye in over 2 months. It looked like the bite had finnaly change over there.
