I finally was able to get out to my house on Sunday. The good people at Appeldorns plowed a “goat path” out to four mile. The weekend was a Bust but I’m glad we were safe and got to clean the house out.

Check out this video I made driving out. I tried a few different roads to see how close I could get to my house. I ended up parking on the road (1-1:15 mark) pausing the video, and hiking it through dang near waist deep snow about 200 feet. I had a portable in my house I put all my stuff in and lugged it back to my truck. Exhausting!

What a nightmare for permanent shacks and there owners. Seen a guy over on lake link charging $300 a shack to pull on the willow flowage.

Man, you really shouldn’t drive that fast on the ice.

    Cool video.

As crazy as it is I’d say with the current conditions $300 might actually be a fair price. Does anyone know what the fine would be for not having a fishhouse removed by March 3rd?

$135 up to 5 days. After 5 days you go to court and explain the reason to a judge.

    See page 19
