12.8″ of snow at my dad’s farm in Malmo (he’s the little dot you see in the NE corner of Mille Lacs on the snowfall website)
As far as ice conditions I think your best bet is to stay in the bays on the South end right now.
The North end is a different story. I was out on Saturday checking and while a majority of areas were fishable with 3-4″ of good ice there were multiple cracks and also areas of that still had open water. I would say 90% chance that the center of lake wasn’t fully locked up before the snow. I can’t stress enough how careful you would need to be heading out anywhere on the North side right now with snow hiding possible cracks and thin ice. Even for walking out please go through a resort that has checked the ice rather than venturing out on your own through a public access right now.
Here is a video that I had taken on Saturday of the main sheet of ice out from Garrison breaking free and moving leaving over 30′ of open water. https://www.facebook.com/Will.Roseberg.Fishing?ref=hl#!/photo.php?v=652335668143619&set=vb.464982683545586&type=2&theater
