I had Mike V. Join me in my boat to fish the W-eye Knot Fishing Club tourney on Mille lacs Saturday. We took 1st place and big fish with a true mille lacs 29.5″ beast. It was a six fish catch photo release tourney , we got our 6 for a grand total of 151″ . All but one fish came on cranks, the other a crawler

First of all, Congrats on your awesome win!!
Second, it is great to me to see a tournament director that
gets it. I love the idea of a photo catch and release for Mille lacs lake until we get the slot and limit back up.

Nice fish! Can I ask what crank you were using and if you where running lead or not?

I agree the lake needs more of these type of tourneys. Congrats on the win and fish.

Thanks everyone. We were on the mud in the morning, had 4 fish in the boat between 7:35 and 9:00 a.m. Then it was a struggle the rest of the day until we decided to make the move and head to the gravel at noon which produced our last 2 fish
