Any tips for this weekend??

I am leaving for the pond thurs. afternoon and fishing throught sunday morning. Anybody have any tips on where to start. How is the mud bite? Is the northeast gravel still a good bet? Any help would be great. I am taking my dad over for the first time. I hope the wind is not to bad I am not sure if he can handle the big stuff!! Thanks again!!

Here is what I got. Sunday Afternoon I was on the Pond. Decided to make a run out to the Mud Flats(The B.JUG). I found a good qauntity of fish out there on the Sonar along with baitfish and bug larvae??? The fish seemed to be off the tops. We ended up with a few. All seemed to be right after coming off the top. We had 7′-10′ lindys with a phelps floater or plain red hook with Jumbo leeches. It seemded really slow for as many fish we graphed . We tried Spinners and crawlers, but did not try trolling . Maybe that was the ticket???? I will be back up Thursday afternoon /Evening. Good Luck and hope this helps somewhat . The night ban is officially over! I’ll be concentrating on the evening bite this weekend. Trolling shad raps and bobber fishing the east/southeast rocks.

The reports I have from the mud are sporatic at best. If you want to target big fish, it’s worth the time spent out there. Personally, I’m after slot fish this weekend.

I’ll probably be chasing SMB and Musky during the day.
