I’ve had a lot more small northerns showing up this year and I was wondering if others are seeing the same thing? I agree with the DNR targeting hammer handles and I want to encourage people to keep their 3 fish under 33. They’re eating machines and they put a lot of competitive pressure on the walleyes. Which are looking skinny again, btw….
I agree you can give the Walleyes a little helping hand by keeping some of those small Pike and when you remove the bones they are a really good eating fish.
