You guys that fish ML alot like me know how rough the lake can get and that’s no excuse not to fish. The wife likes to go out, but hates a rough ride. I need a good pedestal and seat for her. The 8 year old seat and pedestal that came with the boat are worn out anyway, so it’s time to upgrade her seat. Any ideas?

The new Smooth Move Ultras are a back saver for sure. They saved my back after 4 days on LOTW with 4 to 6 footers every day and a 26 mile run.

The best on the market. Fully adjustable to YOU.

…and they won’t sell one to you if it’s not the right seat for you.

The older style work great as well, but the new style is smaller, swivels and looks cooler.

    They’ve been around for years.

Thanks for the info, can these be used on pedestal seats or just permanent mount seats?

They will be a permanent base that will stay in the boat. It is about 4″ tall. Then it will be the smooth move suspension then any style seat.

Just the seat itself will bolt right to the suspension system which fits over the small pedestal base that is in the boat. It comes with everything you need other than the seat itself.

The suspension system basically replaces the pedestal that your used to.

Speaking of boat seats mine took one too many waves on Friday Luckily I’ve got long arms and I was able to finish the weekend fishing with a custom low ride seat.

Looks like I should be calling SBC and checking into the smooth moves… Or switching to a glass boat
