I fished Tuesday and Wednesday this week before heading back home to catch up on missed obligations. I was also out with my soon-to-be father-in-law, who thinks I’m an amazing fisherman because, up til now, I’ve only fished with him on Mille Lacs in June. 
Anyways, Tuesday was crappy….I couldn’t find any real concentrations of fish, and the fish I did find didn’t bite. Six hours, four fish.
Wednesday morning was pretty good, actually. Started pulling lead and had two right away. Spent the rest of the day pulling leadcore, marking fish when we passed over them, and then going back through the fish with lindy rigs if they didn’t hit the cranks. Caught 14 or 15 in the a.m.
Went back out with some corks for the sunset bite and caught a few. Marked a bunch but couldn’t make them bite.
