Going to Mille Lacs Sunday through Thursday upcoming. Any good tips on where to start for the eye’s and the smallies?
What would be good presentation? Help is always appreciated…

The water should be warming up enough now for them to be on the rocks, shallow rocks. Pulling small cranks or slip bobbers should be good for both species. I will be up tonight for the weekend and this is what I will be doing. Good luck!

Just got back from a week on the lake. The shallow bite is real good right now. Casting stick baits to shore in 2-3 FOW. Water temps on the lake were 47-49 most mornings warming to 50-52 mid day. Good mix of walleye and SMB. Fun bite. Caught fish trolling shad raps in 10-14. Rigged live bait shallow and deep down to 30 foot, caught fish. Got to work through a lot of fish for keeper slots. I was fishing rock/sand areas in the south east corner. Good luck!
