Anyone interested in throwing together a “fish together” some time in August with the focus of the gathering being on the bass fishery up there on Mille Lacs? I’m thinking something like geta group together out of one of the resorts on the south or SE sides of the lake and run a little “mock and completely unofficial” bass tournament. Food and drink in the evening followed by a LOT of story telling and sharing of fish info?

If I get a few “heck yeahs” I’ll make it happen.

Count me in. Please try to dodge my tourney schedule too. If it’s not too much to ask.

Blue says we have to make you fish with Larry. Whatever that means.

How about Aug. 20-22? (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Sounds like a winner to me. I have some space also for some campers, tents and whatever to help those out that are coming from out of town on the eastside. Now, just to get the time off .

Would this be a three day event?
    Sounds like a great time!

Yes… and no. It would be a span of 3 days where people could come and fish one day, a part of a day, or all 3 days. It wouldn’t be so structured as to require a guy to be there for the duration. Just a real general time frame over a 3 day weekend when some fellow Mille Lacs Lake smallie nutz can get together to share some info as well as good food and beverages in the evenings.

Nope. You’ll remain in good standing with your fellow walleye fishing brothers and sisters.

Heck Yeah! Count me in too. I’d be happy to keep track of anyone wanting to stay in CoveBayGuy’s cabin. It’s a sweet place with lots of room for beverages and BS.

Everybody is welcome! No initiations, hazing or fees. Just show up with a desire to catch fish and shoot the breeze.
