Pretty good ice (12+”), but some bad cracks… be sure to stay on roads and check in with the resorts first. Last report I heard, good action out on the edge of the mid-lake flats mid-day and good rattle reel action in the middle of the night on the first real depth structure from shore (20+ fow) Also, I heard a dead stick is out producing jigging Good luck and stay safe !
There is a good morning/evening bite going on the north end sand on shoreline breaks in 20-25′ depths with the best action from 4:30-5:30. Silver/red and green/gold are working during daylight with glow pink/red working best in low light conditions.
Daytime bite has been OK not great fishing either 28-33′ along the bottom edge of the flats or soaking 6-8″ sucker minnows over the top of weeds in shallow. Good luck and let us know how you do
Thanks guys for the info. I know it’s probaly going to be a tough bite up there, I read the DNR fall gill net reports and that wasn’t encouraging! So good luck to all.
