Well this weekend was definately not a let down for the big pond in my boat with over 50 fish and in the two nights and a couple doubles. Went down to the cabin for some night trolling with my dad and gf but my dad ended up getting sick so it was just us two.

We found over the weekend the best bite was a deeper bite then previous years and did best in 8-14 ft of water. It seemed as though the quailty of fish in the deeper water wasnt what we where used to but none to less still beautiful fish with many in the 20-24 inch range. The speed stayed pretty consistent both nights right around 1.7mph.

Friday night was the clearer of the two nights and that sure did make a difference with the attitude of the fish they seemed to be a little shallower. We caught then on the typical stickbaits HJ 12s and the best lure of the night was a firetigerbass bomer long A out fishing the HJ 3 to 1 160 ft back, too bad it was the only one in the boat.

Saturday the clouds rolled in and the fished kind pushed out we caught fish in 12-14ft on the outside of the weedline with rapala SR 7s 80-90 ft back and on river rocker number 5s 150 ft back. The key to the weekend was if you went finding fish go deeper.

All in all a fun weekend on the pond too bad the nights where called short because of the girlfriend getting cold but thats what happens. Here is a few from the weekend sorry about the quaility I didnt charge the good camera
